Let's Answer a Few Questions
Classes are held at Steamboat Dance + Fitness, 1955 Bridge Lane Suite 1900. The studio is located on the west end of Steamboat, next to Excel Gymnastics
Parking is available to patrons of Steamboat Dance + Fitness in reserved spots 3 thru 9, in front of Excel Gymnastics, and along Shield Dr and James Brown Bridge. After regular business hours, additional parking is available in front of the Public Defender's office.
Please note, if you choose to park in other reserved parking spots (not 3 thru 9), your car is subject to towing at the owners expense. Please respect our neighbors.
Please log in or create an account with Forty106 Dance Project through their software program DanceStudio Pro by clicking the Portal Login link.
You can sign up for monthly classes and drop in classes by clicking on the Portal Login. New students will be required to create an account through DanceStudio Pro. Current students will sign in using their login credentials.
Forty106 Dance Project classes have few regulations when it comes to your comfort of your choice in dancewear. We ask that you reframe from wearing jeans or any type of clothing that restricts your overall movement. Exercise clothing such as leggings and a comfortable top is sufficient. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible while attending class.
SHOES? Depends on the class.
Contemporary class has the option of wearing socks, paws, turing shoes, or bare feet.
Ballet class has the option of wearing socks or ballet shoes. Barefeet are not recommended.
Tap shoes for tap class, however we will allow tennis shoes in the event that tap toes are note availalbe.
Jazz shoes are helpful when it comes to Jazz Basics. Socks or turning shoes are ok if you have a background in jazz technique.

Movement Basics classes at 45 minutes.
Movement Series classes are either 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please read the times listed carefully when registering for classes. Tuition for class reflects legnth of instruction.

Yes! We do offer multi-class discounts.
2 classes = 10% monthly tuition
3 classes = 15% monthly tuition
4 classes = 18% monthly tuition
There are no multi-class discounts available on drop in classes. Multi-class discounts only applies to month classes.

Forty106 Dance Project is dedicated to the adult dance learner, first and foremost.
In the regular season most of our classes are open to dancers 14+. Please note that on occation there are some classes that are 18+.
A few Apprentice level classes are typically available in the summer or over winter holiday.

Every now and then we have a teacher who wants to offer a class dedicated to the little dancer. These are few and far between, but they do happen. If you need guidance on finding the right dance class for your little Meg is more than happy to connect you with the right local dance studio.
