Opening Reception at Steamboat Art Museum (SAM)
This dance was specifically crafted for this event, with its theme and atmosphere in mind. The creative process began with a concise, stationary phrase as the foundational seed. From this initial motif, I expanded and developed larger movement sequences, each building upon the essence of that singular phrase. The choreography evolved organically, weaving together patterns of movement phrases to embody the spirit and intention behind the event.

The first volume of From The Archives. This performance was developed from previous works created by Artistic Director Meg Southcott. The work presented has either been previously performed (and further expanded upon in hopes of developing the works into full length ballets) or have been developed from class routines over the years. There are plently of archives to dig through which can only mean WE HAVE A LOT MORE DANCING TO DO.
